GetGo is a download manager that handles all your Internet downloads and accelerates their speed. You can schedule, pause, and resume whenever you want the downloads from multiple sites at the same time. It is really easy to use.
You can organize your downloads sorting them by category, for instance. It also offers options such as renaming files and picking a download folder.
It integrates as a toolbar in web browsers, and whenever there is a downloadable object a small floating bar will appear over it, enabling its download.
GetGo claims to be 500% faster than others but when put to the test, it barely did better than FireFox's integrated download manager or IExplorer's Save As.
On the other hand, scheduled downloads and broken link repair are truly an advantage, unlike its download speed.
New features of this version include: Internet Explorer 8 support; ability to capture YouTube HQ and HD video (FLV or MP4 format), better video downloads from YouTube, Myspace, Google Video, MetaCafe, DailyMotion, etc. with embedded HTTP, FLV, and new Error Recovery Ability.
It is compatible with Windows Vista, and can be used with Internet Explorer 6.0 or better, and Mozilla Firefox 3 or better.
Download videos, resume broken and accelerate downloads by up to 10 times.
